Ron has been a financial advisor since 1998, and has been the owner and principal of his own firm since 2004. Over the years he acquired a number of professional registrations and licenses, including FINRA Series 7, 24 and 66 (held with LPL Financial) as well as insurance licenses for Life Agent and Variable Life/Variable Annuities and Accident/Health.

Ron recognizes the importance of Christian Stewardship and God's influence in his work. One of Ron’s convictions is that a person’s giving should be in proportion to their income. Ron is an active member of his community volunteering time or providing financial resources for the following organizations: Ferndale Dairy Princess, Fortuna Concert Series, Fortuna Christmas Music Festival, Christian Home Educators, Betty Kwan Chin Outreach, Eureka Rescue Mission, New Life Christian School, Eel River Soccer, Fortuna Rodeo Association, Fortuna Jr. Rodeo, Friends of the Fortuna Library, and the North Coast Dance Company. Ron and his wife Lanore have two grown daughters and 4 beautiful grandchildren.
